Frequently asked questions
Catastrophic event response may include emergency security, access control, site stabilization, logistics coordination, scene management, and support for government agencies, insurers, restoration teams, and corporations.
Emergency response teams are typically mobilized within 2 hours in major urban centers and within 24 hours (or as quickly as possible) to secure affected sites, support emergency operations, and reduce additional risk or disruption.
Security teams often work alongside emergency responders, government agencies, insurers, restoration providers, and site managers to maintain communication, safety, and operational continuity. Select members of the ESM team are trained in the IMS system used in the Province of Ontario.
